Wolves GR Esports are in action again on Saturday 16th October for round two of the Le Mans Virtual Series, held on the Spa circuit in Belgium.
The six-hour endurance race takes place on the historic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, more commonly known as Spa, one of the most iconic circuits in Europe which plays host to the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, as well as the World Endurance Championship’s Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
Round one saw Wolves GR Esports compete alongside some of the biggest names in world racing and sim-racing at Monza, including Red Bull Racing Esports, Porsche Esports Team, Williams and BMW Team Redline, and Saturday’s round will be no different.
Roster changes have been made ahead of round two, including the additions of Australian endurance racer Nick Foster, 19-year-old Finnish sim-racer Turkka Hakkinen and Daytona 24 Hour winner Ryan Cullen, replacing Bart Horsten, Liam de Waal and Ben Barker due to scheduling conflicts.
The official Wolves GR Esports rosters for round two are as follows:
- Car #86 | Nick Foster, Adam Maguire, Turkka Hakkinen
- Car #87 | Ryan Cullen, Philipp Puschke, Chris McDade
Michael Moriarty, esports manager for Wolves, said: “The drivers have been hard at work getting to grips with the track for this weekend’s race since the round at Monza came to an end.
“While our performances there didn’t live up to hopes due to some technical issues on the day, we’ve learned what we needed to do from that event, and I can’t wait for us to show what we can do on the Spa circuit.”
The drivers themselves will be competing live from Molineux, and Wolves Esports’ social media channels will provide live updates, behind the scenes footage and more.
